Nationally the best time of year to move is in the spring, the weather is just right. This time of year generally avoid's the rush when kids are out of school. During the summer time kids are out of school, moving companies are booked tight and the busiest time of year. Most homes go up for sale during the summer when kids are out of school, so why not avoid the competition? Early spring is the sweet spot and an excellent time to put home on the market and sell before the housing market get's flooded as a trend. It just seems so right with the change of season and a refreshing with a potential wave of buyers are starting to shop for a home.
