CENTRAL FLORIDA WATER PARKS

Water parks in Central Florida are plentiful and so much fun for adults and kids of all ages to visit and cool off. Disney has several. Typhoon Lagoon creates waves the size of a Tsunami with a big stormy sound that will catch you by surprise! Plenty of lifeguards are on duty. What a wonderful job on artificial beaches as well and no need for shoes. You can feel very lazy on the lazy river.

The lazy river can make your day after a lot of walking through all the theme parks. If you like to lounge, many chairs are waiting for you. Check into specials on annual passes which is a great deal.  Also check into Disney passes that can include all water parks. This place will male you sleep very good at night too, don't forget to check out the water slides! Food is a thumbs up! Watch for crowds and long weekends at any of these parks due to many tourist and times of seasons. There are several facilities available for showering and changing clothes. Kiddie parks are available. Swimsuits policies are not enforced.

I find that the best times are Thanksgiving and around Christmas times are the best  for short lines while there. If you like to rent a cabana they are available, however book well in advance. BLIZZARD BEACH

This is another great park for fun and all ages. Theme is a ski resort with chair lifts. One may say attention to detail throughout the whole park on how pristine the landscaping looks. Lot's of talk about the Summit Plummet water ride if you are brave enough, this water ride will give you a wedgie out of this world and you will laugh it off! The Slush Gusher a great family ride. All types of water ride slide rides for all ages. Many brag about Blizzard Margarita the you must try.

There are plenty of tubes to go around for all ages and refreshments are always a plus at any water park. The Gondola Ski Lift will show you a fantastic view of the entire water park. This huge park serves many types of food for all taste buds, lazy rivers are at most water parks in Central Florida. There is a family raft you must try and many shady areas around the park. The smell of food in this park will crave many glands. There is a specific area for toddlers which is great for children five years and under. Check for updates on annual passes. Enjoy an exciting family raft ride on team boat springs.

UNIVERSAL VOLCANO BAY 

This new park has water rides that will make sure you open your mouth wide when going down! You can view this right off interstate 4. What is called a four person Krakatau Aqua Coaster ride that winds, twist and turns in the volcano and drops you in blue, green waters. Other water rides are Kala Nui Serpinetine Body Slides is a swift ride for two people. The ultimate water ride is the Ohyah and watch out for the TeAwa Fearless River that is the talk of the town. Don't for get to visit the wave pool that can toss you to and fro if you are not paying attention. The Puka Uli Lagoon is excellent for little ones to enjoy while the parents can have a bit of rest and relaxation.  Aquatica Orlando is also a great water park for families of all ages. Security is impressive at this water park. Reviews have been holding very good and steady at this park and many families are inclined to go back and visit. The water slides are exceptional for all ages at this park.

This park has two wave pools and less crowded at times compared to others. At times you can bundle purchase with Sea World Tickets. Lifeguards are always on their post watching out and cabanas are available to rent and easy to navigate through park.

If you do not like large crowds, this is the park for you and not a pocket buster.Be sure to visit the big tube slide and drop slide which are both thrilling. Sea World has a new rollercoaster named Ice Breaker for the whole family that rides for one minute and thirty seconds you will scream for up to 50mph backwards and forwards.
