DR PHILLIPS PERFORMING ARTS

This facility is located downtown in the center of Orlando at 445 S Magnolia Ave and a 501C non-profit organization. Opened in 2011 and have been very successful since and steady schedule annually. Jan 11 2018 it was official that a three million dollar donation was accepted and well needed to complete the final phase and finish the project from Harvey and Carol Massey Foundation. Along with a shipment of busses that arrive month after month this non-profit organization is very busy and unique to this area.

This building seats just over 2600 for ticket holders. The exterior architectural design will capture anyone attention from a distance. Tastefully sophisticated decor from the outside to interior lighting, carpet, stairs and exotic layout design is breathtaking throughout the building. INSIDE

There are many rooms to occupy events, all types and variety of performances, guest speakers, dance, comedy, ballet, opera, music, plays for all ages are on the plate for interested and avid ticket holders. This kind of remind me of a mini broadway version in New York. Group tickets are available for a discount rate and gift certificates are available.

PROGRAMS AND MORE

There are always summer programs available for ages six to adults. For interested students that want to know more, there are plays, music classes, programs for seniors, dancing, rehearsing scenes, acting, dancing and understanding theatrical production environment. You can also rent a space for a special event. Within the building is the Devos Family Room, Dr Phillips Center Florida Hospital School of Arts, Seneff Arts Plaza, Alexis & Jim Pugh Theatre and Walt Disney Theatre.

There is so much more construction happening as we speak for expanding such as more lobby space, kitchens, rehearsal space with acoustical engineering. With an experienced staff they can easily look outside the box to support the cause and purpose for Central Florida tourist and local families.
