FREE THINGS TO DO IN CENTRAL FLORIDA

LAKE EOLA

This park has an amphitheater for shows and live entertainment. Walking around the whole park just looking at high risers and fantastic views of birds flying and turtles swimming. Parking is metered, however free parking is along Eola Drive on the east side of lake. 

OLD TOWN 

Strategically located in the heart of Kissimmee tourist area. Located minutes from the Disney Theme parks and major attractions. The atmosphere is always awesome! A great place to visit and always something going on for families of all ages. Motorcycle shows on Friday nights and classic car shows on Saturday nights. bring your classic hot rod or car to show off. Amusement rides and restaurants are nearby for a nominal fee.

MEAD BOTANICAL GARDEN

This facility is full of nature. The boardwalk is so peaceful and away from the hustle and bustle. Hungry? Bring your food and grill in one of many pavilions. Parking is free! 

Disney Boardwalk

Live entertainment, dining and shopping to name a few. At dusk you can view nightly fireworks on the Magic Kingdom grounds.

Plant Street Market

Located in the heart of Winter Garden and you can feel the shift in the atmosphere and just has a plain cozy feeling. So peaceful with many businesses of eatery's shopping, a variety of organic foods and always live music. Parking is available in public garage.

Wekiva Island is located in Longwood, noted for its natural springs. Here you can walk around in the water, swim, canoe, kayak and paddle board for a nominal fee. Indoor and outdoor bars are located throughout the location. Cabana rentals are also available. No entrance fee.

Lakeridge Winery and Vineyards is located in Clermont has a wine tasting each day of the week. They provide and educate you on how wine is made. If you like to bicycle ride the Orlando Critical Mass is an open invitation cyclist's dream come true. Starting downtown Orlando Loch Haven Park to Noras Lake with the local streets shut down equivalent  to eight miles for free.
