The question is asked many times, what is real estate? Real estate refers to property consisting of land and the buildings on it, along with it's natural resources such as crops, minerals or water. COMMON TYPES

The common types of real estate are residential properties to include single family homes, these are detached houses designed for one family or one large family with yard and garage. Waterfront homes are designed to have water-view, boat  dock, jet ski lift to enjoy the water for the whole family. Townhouses are multi-story homes that share one or more walls with adjacent properties, often part of a homeowners association with common areas and amenities. Condominiums are individual units with a larger building or complex, where owners share common areas and amenities. Multi-Family homes are buildings designed to accommodate multiple families , such as duplexes or apartment complexes. Cooperative Housing is a type of housing where residents owns shares in a corporation that owns the property, giving them the right to occupy a unit. Mobile Homes are factory built homes that can be moved, typically located in mobile home parks. Some parks have restrictions subject to leasing the land. Vacation homes are properties used primarily used for leisure and recreational purposes, often located in desirable vacation destinations.
