A disabled veteran, who lived in Lake Nona Florida was awarded a mortgage free home in Fayetteville, NC on Aug 9th 2018. This event has shaken social media for some time now. The home came from Bank of America to Veterans Association Realtor Professional (VAREP) Orlando Chapter. A full rehabilitation was completed on the home as well. A prominent company in Fayetteville, NC heard word of this and donated all the cost of new furniture and appliances. Currently, VAREP is nationwide and established in 2011. In Washington, DC VAREP National Conference at the Grand Hyatt Hotel, Bank of America announced last year that they are giving away over 1900 homes nationwide to disabled veterans. Typically, homes are given to a qualified veteran in the same State. However, Bernie exceeded all expectations and requirements to relocate to North Carolina.
VAREP is a nonprofit 501C organization and advocates for all veterans nationwide when purchasing a home. Many veterans to not know or understand all of their rights. The Justillian family received one of the American dreams, awarded a mortgage free home within 90 days of application! This process usually takes at least a year and shattered all types of records in our organization! This Orlando Chapter holds monthly meetings which set's agendas throughout the year at different locations in Central Florida. For example Lunch and Learn sessions, VA Housing Summit, Mixers and many more and all sponsors are welcomed. This is a great organization to be a part of, along with giving back to the community of Veterans. Bringing proud home ownership advocacy, community outreach, professional membership, veteran job creation and affordable housing. Personally, I was looking for something like this to be a part of giving back to the Veteran world.
We are like minded people with a vision for all Veterans. Contact me today if you are interested in joining a chapter in The United States.
